“During our trip to Halong Bay, we stayed at the Halong Spring Hotel which has an excellent view of the Bay. Most of the hotel personnel can speak Chinese Mandarin as Halong Bay is very near the Chinese border. The hotel is within walking distance to the Halong Bay night market as well. I enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel and my favorite item in the Vietnamese breakfast was their bacon. It was juicy, tender and absolutely mouth-watering. Their bacon wins hands-down against some of the 4-star or 5-star hotel restaurants which I had come across in my other travels.”
