“Halong Bay is a piece of Paradise on earth (it’s worth seeing it), the high light of our trip to Vietnam.
Novotel Halong Bay is an excellent choice on where to stay. New, modern and pleasant, a find in this area.
Asia is a delicate situation regarding hotel booking, and I always look for trustable hotel chains when I am in this area. In a developing tourist spot as Ha Long (Ascending Dragon) Bay, pay a little more for a hotel room, would avoid a lot of inconvenience.
The room was spacious clean and very comfortable, the bath room the right size and the shower excellent, the view, stunning.
The swimming pool is in the center of the hotel, a very nice place to relax and have a drink after a tiresome day at Sung Sot Caves and the island on the bay.
The restaurant and the bar, very at ease places with eye-catching decoration.
What is also important, in a good hotel, is the service and the staffs are Very good, always trying to be helpful. The assistance and attention of the hotel manager Mss. Tina sure improve the overall recognition for this hotel.”

“It was my first time in Halong bay. I trust in the name of novotel and as the bad experience in Hanoi I'd rather choose chain hotels than the local one. The food was great, French and Vietnamese food. The chef is from French .The sea food is so fresh, I enjoyed PHO there. The room is clean, modern. The staffs are useful except very slow and lack of understanding easily.
Over all .loved it will be my first choice hotel in Halong bay next time.”
