“After wandering through both north and south Vietnam, we found the Saigon Halong to be an oasis of cleanliness and luxury. An excellent value.

The management's attention to detail is obvious....VERY clean rooms/lobby. Pleasant and well kept room furnishings and bedding. Top floor restaurant is impeccable and the breakfast was outstanding. Great view of the bay. Many amenities. The staff was ever present and very attentive. A few language problems, but that was MY fault. Would recommend to anybody visiting Halong Bay.”

“While in Hanoi with my family we decided to take a side trip to Halong Bay. After getting outrageous quotes from travel agencies we decided to call around. Are we glad we called the Saigon!

At first we had planned on over-night on one of the junks, but changed our minds after another couple shared their "buggy” experience with us.

The room was on the 11th floor with a fantastic view of the bay. This hotel is in the center of the bay, with close access to the junks. As in many of the hotels in this area, the electricity would eventually brown out, causing the air to go off. A call to the desk fixed the problem.”
